  3. Installation:

  5. Click on FILE on the Program Manager. Select RUN... 
  6. Enter X:\SETUP in the edit box then click on OK.
  7. (X is the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive.)
  8. Follow the instructions on the screen.

  11. Wizardware's Presentation Magic provides tools and supplies for your multimedia 
  12. presentations. Presentation Magic has many elements, from Video Show Assistant, a 
  13. multimedia presentation manager, to TrueType AttachΘ Lite, a TrueType font manager.

  15. If the audio breaks up when running a show, use the DRIVERS Applet from the
  16. Control Panel. Double Click on [mci] Sound. Increase the buffers to MAX. This
  17. should solve the problem.

  20. Presentation Magic has all of the following items on the CD-ROM:

  22. Video Show Assistant
  23. This high performance presentation manager allows you to create your own 
  24. Multimedia shows. Video Show Assistant can combine Pictures, Audio Clips, 
  25. Animations, and Video into a computer based presentation.
  26. Pictures can be loaded from different image file formats. If you have a 256 color 
  27. display driver, BMP, GIF, PCX, and 8 Bit TIFF files can be loaded. Machines with display 
  28. drivers that support 32,000 or more colors can also load TGA files in addition to 24 bit 
  29. TIFF and BMP images.
  30. Video Show Assistant can play animations in the FLI or FLC file formats.
  31. WAV audio files can be used for presentations. Images can be set to change while an 
  32. audio clip is playing, or wait for the audio stops before going to the next.
  33. AVI Video can also be played by Video Show Assistant. Presentation Magic includes 
  34. drivers for this video format, which may be installed when Presentation Magic is set up.
  35. On Line help and a short tutorial are available to get you up and running quickly.

  37. Video Titler Lite
  38. Whether you are creating a video and need titles, or are creating a presentation that 
  39. uses a lot of text, Video Titler Lite can handle the job. Video Titler Lite creates text 'On 
  40. the fly' so that you don't have to create an image file for each slide. Video Titler Lite 
  41. can use its transitions on both the text and image files, easily creating dynamic 
  42. presentations.
  43. Video Titler Lite creates text using selectable character attributes, such as drop 
  44. shadows, borders, and 3D extruded edges. VGA to NTSC cards really shine when used 
  45. with Video Titler Lite. Unlike other Windows applications, Video Titler Lite's titles are 
  46. optimized for video use. It will give you some of the cleanest recordings possible under 
  47. Windows.
  48. Images in both BMP and GIF formats can be used as backgrounds for the titles. Since 
  49. Video Titler Lite uses Truetype fonts, it supports virtually any font that can be installed in 
  50. Windows.

  52. TrueType AttachΘ Lite
  53. TrueType AttachΘ provides an easy way to deal with TrueType fonts in the Windows 
  54. environment. This helpful utility allows you to see samples of TrueType font files on 
  55. screen with a click of the mouse. Installing and removing fonts from the system is also 
  56. accomplished quickly and easily with TrueType AttachΘ.
  57. In order to keep better track of the fonts in your system, TrueType AttachΘ can print 
  58. out font samples of any installed font.

  60. Slide Show Viewer
  61. Presentation Magic contains 200 images which can be used as part of your 
  62. presentations. Slide Show Viewer offers 6 different shows which allow you to see all of 
  63. the images on the disk. Shows are played using Video Show Assistant, so this is a good 
  64. place to get a feel for some of Video Show Assistant's capabilities.

  66. Registration
  67. If you don't run any of the other programs on this CD-ROM, please run this one. 
  68. Registration asks you for your name and address, and prints your registration card to 
  69. your printer or to a text file.
  70. The registration can be mailed or faxed to us, whichever you prefer. Registering your 
  71. program helps us to keep you informed of new products as they develop. In addition, 
  72. Registration collects some information about your system, such as the number of colors 
  73. that it supports, whether you have a math coprocessor, and the processor type. This 
  74. information will help us to make new products which take the best advantage of the 
  75. hardware that our customers have, not just lowest common denominator guesses.

  77. Images
  78. Presentation Magic contains 200 images that can be used for your presentations. The 
  79. images are stored in subdirectories of the \IMAGES directory. All of the images are 
  80. stored in both BMP and GIF 256 color formats. The GIF images are in the \IMAGES\GIF 
  81. directory, and the BMP images are in the \IMAGES\BMP directory.

  83. TrueType Fonts
  84. 200 TrueType fonts are included on Presentation Magic. TrueType AttachΘ can be 
  85. used to install and remove these fonts from your system. Once installed, these fonts 
  86. can be used by any Windows application that supports TrueType fonts, not just the 
  87. applications on this CD-ROM. The TrueType fonts are all stored in the \FONTS directory 
  88. on the CD-ROM.

  90. Autodesk Animator Fonts
  91. Another unique feature of Presentation Magic is a collection of over 100 fonts for 
  92. Autodesk multimedia products. These fonts are compatible with Autodesk Animator, 
  93. Autodesk Animator Pro, and Multimedia Explorer.
  94. The fonts are all derived from Entropy Engineering's line of VideoFonts. Because of this, 
  95. the fonts record clearly to video tape, without the color shifts and distortions found in 
  96. other fonts.
  97. To use the Autodesk compatible fonts, simply select the Load Font feature and specify 
  98. the \AAFONTS path on your CD-ROM drive as the place to load the fonts from. If you 
  99. prefer, you can also copy the fonts into your Animator directory.

  101. Presidio PC Animate Plus Fonts
  102. Presentation Magic has more than 100 fonts that are compatible with Presidio's PC 
  103. Animate Plus animation package. PC Animate Plus is bundled with some Creative Labs 
  104. products, such as the Sound Blaster 16, so you may already have a copy.
  105. The fonts are all derived from Entropy Engineering's line of VideoFonts. Because of this, 
  106. the fonts record clearly to video tape, without the color shifts and distortions found in 
  107. other fonts.
  108. Follow the directions for loading and using fonts that came with your copy of PC 
  109. Animate Plus. The PC Animate Plus compatible fonts are stored in the \PCAFONTS 
  110. directory on this CD-ROM.
